What kind of a market though?, sounds practically dead to me with all the info we're getting.

I don't think Sony has plans to use PSVR on PC either, for themselves maybe but I don't think they want to go far with adult entertainment unless they are ok with being related to it.

Well consoles are still popular products for the casual folk so yeah I wouldn't think different about PSVR, I just feel that with all we're hearing that PCVR is going to be Dead on arrival.

There is always a reason for some products to be jacked in price, I mean we do have those luxious sports cars, premium setas on planes, premium places to eat, I know we can get regular this or that but premium and better tech exists for a specific market of people. Yeah there are some products that charge you a lot (like Apple) despite not being objectively betetr than everything else, I feel with VR that there will be some differences in tech, if one is expensive than the other but doesn't do next to anything better than the cheaper one then they have to sort out the priceing sooner or later, usually revisions tend to play into that factoring at some stage (which is why I'm not investing until 2-3 years from now to see if VR becomes more and more common with cheaper revisions and improved tech).

I think that you're being a tad pessimistic about it. VR is more likely to succeed on PCs than it is on consoles honestly. Mainly because video games will never get as naughty on a console compared to PC which is basically unlimited in that regard.  For VR to succeed on consoles, it needs a steady supply of compeling games. That's also true for VR with PCs but it's easier for anyone to make a game for PC and makes mods for 'em. 

I will admit I am somewhat cynical (having been too optomistic about a many great things in life only to have them fail or not meet expectations time and time again which has turned me towards being a realist). Thing is with porn though is will the quality even be good lol?, we're hearing of porn being a thing with VR and I;m somehow trying to think of porn companies dishing out that pretty penny for all the eneds for VR on their side.

Minecraft VR will probably get me back on board with the game when it happens, though some time later on (creepers still scare the shit out of me 5 years later).

Well, the quality of graphics in anything porn related only needs to be good enough. Too many think of famous porn stars when it comes to porn and VR. There's already a lot of porn related games that can work really well with VR but they're not based around classic porn. There's free to play sex sim/chat room games where you can chat or do whatever and there's full avatars in 'em that will do whatever. So it's not like all of these companies need to spend a lot of money to make games for it when there's already a lot that can work with it. The japanese already have all sorts of games that can work with it extremely well. How much do you think some might pay to have a VR experience with their waifus? VR might work well web cam sites,too. Of course, there's plenty of people that dismiss this sort of stuff but sexual fullfilment is a basic need of people regardless of culture. VR will just bring a more immersive experience with different kinds of kinks.
