After the test above, I've checked in the database and every single person I've quoted has the blue icon.

There is however a situation where people won't get a blue icon and it's when you quote someone from another thread.

On the other hand, I'm aware of the bug when quoting a post that had multiple quotes in it. I'll try to check on that when I have some spare time.

Got a blue square as well but as you can see, some of the quotes were wiped out after I clicked on the 'quote' button.

Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't.
For example, when Abbath multiquotes me I can quote and edit it as I please and everything is fine, but when SWORDF1SH multiquotes me...
It might have to do with the browser, if it's coming from a mobile or a PC or something random, but it does works depending which case.

It's not the multi-quote per se that causes the problem. It's the quote tree killer who sometimes gets confused by the multiple quotes and kills quotes that it shouldn't.

It does.

Though what I noticed is sometimes when you multi quote - it merges posts from two or more people so it may seem like one person said something that another person said.

 

Or just breaks the frame completely for me at times putting either the last most quoted thing outside the frame of text making it look like part of my reply or else just seems to pop back in to every quote I do after using multiquote once.

It's a good feature idea, but the current form of it just isn't working properly. Maybe list it as [Multi Quote (beta)]

The three cutting system although enviromentally wrong have made Cone really happy. I think it was a great addition. Funny enough some people show up with 7 level quotes and sometimes mine just show the last one.
