Way too much. I've spent quite some time with DK2, it is a great experience and I hear CV1 improves quite a bit on it...maybe Star VR would be worth that much with its 210 degree FOV and higher resolution, but I don't think Oculus is worth $599.

Sony could make a PS4/PSVR bundle for the Oculus price...
(At least in Europe, 700€ bundle with a 300-350€ console is possible)
Part of me wants to make a genuine comment, a much larger part just wants to laugh at reactions
Can't say I'm surprised, but these devices need to be $400 if they want them to sell well.
Unless the experience is mind blowing (I've never used VR) then this is too much for me. I still want to try it, but guessing even if I enjoy it be 2018/19 before I buy a VR device.
