For most people Sony need to show up and MS need to perform 4-5 miracles.

This would be the case even if Nintendo had a thousand games to show.

But then Nintendo started doing Directs like crazy and I realized I much rather enjoy getting to hear about new games every 1-3 months (in a presentation) than having to wait for annual conferences for them to be announced. ok. let's just pretend that there isn't a company that somehow manages to have a "big show" including one of its own.... five times a year... GDC, E3, Gamescom, TGS and PSX (and that's not even including all the showings they have at every other show year round).

Let's also forget that YouTube channels like PSaccess are there that basically does all year round what a Nintendo direct does in one day.....

Make no mistake, a curated presentation experience isn't the reason Nintendo isn't at every major conferences. 

And what % of games are actually announced at those other events other than E3?

No I'm serious (tried to do research on it myself, but I can't seem to find % of it). I'm interested in looking at what % of games are announced at E3 compared to all the other events combined.
