Yeah some people have massive play times. I played Year 1 from September to November of 2014 and Year 2 from September to December 2015. I've definitely never put over 400 hours into a game in just 7 months.

Pokemon pearl with 877 hours, every pokemon game I have put over 200 hours in (except omega ruby/as still haven't gotten them yet :P)

Probably the MMORPG Mabinogi! It took me soooooooo long to where i am now.
And even Maybe League of Legends. Because every match is around 20minutes for me, while some goes for more than an hour!

This year Elite Dangerous wins by a mile with almost 4 months daily play time of about 4 hours average per day. (about 450 hours). Next up Fallout 4, just finished at 200 hours play time. Then Mario maker at about 150 hours.

All time is easy: Everquest, 5 years daily.

If combing multiple playthrough hours would be the case, then I think I too could have spent the most time playing Final Fantasy VII. I think I've played that game over 7 times and on most of them I've finished the game in over 200 hours.
