Vgc's week 48 sales, Germany! Vgc had fallout 4 at 4th with 49k copies sold and Need for speed 5th with 43k copies sold ! In the 49th week, based on the official european sales tracker gfk, fallout 4 fell at 6th place and Need for speed at 8th, xcx charted at 7th place being between these two games, which by comparison with rankings and sales on vgc of the previous week and rankings of xcx release week by gfk, I deduce that xcx must have at least sold 30k! Animal crossing was 9th with 23k copies sold last week with an upwards sales trend, It's again 9th so the game of 9th place is between 23-25k, you can surmise what that means for xcx! For the history, xcx charted at 37th place in it's week of release in the UK with 12k, 73% more the XC of wii! Also, xcx has  a  wii ubundle... GFK doesn't track software sales from bundles!

If true, 30k first week on germany would be a pretty good opening indeed, that would be more than Splatoon, Super Mario Maker or even 3DWorld. Now lets hope it has some legs through this holidays too.

Pretty good for Xenoblade X and Paper Jam

Personally, I'm shocked with its possible sales of first week ( I guess you understand my extrapolation and its ground) It's triple of what it did in the UK and more than what XC of wii had sold in the whole europe first week lol:P Also, it's similar with the FW sales of other major wii u games! :P

I don't think its that surprising of a number for XCX.

XCX has a built in player tracker in the very first boss that is a forced encounter, and the game keeps track of its kills (and how many people it has killed). It isn't perfectly synced to player count (obviously as not everyone is connected at all times or when they kill the boss) but its a very good approximation. It is also regional.

Both NA and EU have blown past Japan's opening week, and are well into the first triple digit individually.

What do you thing about my assumption, Master of software tracking? ;)
