So minus all the bitching and trolling please i just want some advice, as in is this normal, is my xone broke, or if not can i speed it up somehow. so far it has taken nearly 18 hours to download witcher 3 to 76%. Forza horizon 2 took nearly 23 hours to get to 68%. then it told me i had to update my controllers. 

Icing on the cake though was when i tried to watch a DVD and yep it says Witch 3 installation paused, please update and install the dvd player. ffs microsoft you shitting me???

for comparisons sake my ps4 takes about 4 hours to install a full digital game, wii u is fine. Company of heroes 2 plus expansions only took like 8 hours

23h to download a game isn't normal unless your internet connection is abysmally slow. I have a 15mb speed and it roughly takes 3-10 hours to download games depending on the sizes. Forza Horizon 2 is a huge games thoug.

Hmm no issue like yours, only thing you should know is that the % are not always right because of updates games get.It can jump sometimes from 12% to like 23% in an a second. Also no cable for your consoles?

Forza 2 is around 35GB. Add in the speed restrictions consoles usually get. But what is your Internet speed to begin with. I'm gonna say that it could be normal. The servers are probably bogged even more. Since it's holidays. More purchases etc. Are you using Wifi. Is the signal weak?

certainly not normal, though how do you have it connected ? I suggest trying a wired connection.

I probably don't have to mention this, but make sure that the console is on instant-on power mode or else it will shut itself down (unless you selected something else) and pause all downloads.

If your ps4 takes 4 hours then I assume you have fairly slow internet. It's normal then. A simple FW update on x1 took me almost an hour, on fast internet, all installs take way longer than on ps4, it's probably the worse thing about the OS
