I didn't see very many movies this year, but I was lucky enough to see this one twice over. And I couldn't get enough. George Miller showcased his ability to create a amazing installment in a classic franchise 3 decades after the last. Personally, it's already skyrocketed to be my favorite film ever. So, did anyone see this movie? What did you think of it? Is it worthy of being known as one of the best movies this year?

I totally agree, best action movie ever in my opinion, and it's worthy of the award. When it was first announced I feared it could be a new Mad Max 3 (not a bad film, but worst of the franchise by miles) but, man, I was totally wrong. The action scenes, photography, direction, acting, setting... It's a nearly a flawless action film.

A close second for me would be Inside Out. That film is truly amazing too.

Martian was grat but Mission impossilbe fun but not movie of the year material, the ending was horendous and not all actian scenes were that great

i believe mad max was the best followed by inside out

It was pretty awesome. That and Kingsman are the highlights for me this year.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

If this movie isn't at least nominated for best film, the oscars have no credibility.

It was a weak movie year for me. The Martian is the only one that I would watch at the theatre again if I could go back in time. Last year was so much better.

Seems odd to award this before year is over.

In any event, loved the film and was the best action film I saw this year.

It seemed Mad Max didnt know what to do with all its energy when switching scenes. Literally every action scene would end in a black out transition. Doesnt ruin the movie, but I found myself anticipating it every time.

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!!!!
