It is happening!!!And my, that reward is amazing.Unfortunally is temporary, but just imagine if it was permanent and every 60 dollar game would give you 5 dollar credit for the eshop?On top of the get rewards and discounts for playing?My god that would be awesome.

Digital Deluxe Promotion already did that I think, but anywho if this is digital only then it'd be a step down from Club Nintendo.

If Nintendo is smart they would be rolling this out in the West as soon as possible. I know that not having a promotion has definitely put a hamper on my spending. I seriously miss the DDP.

Wait, the rewards are only for the money spent on the eshop? I hope that's temporary, 'cause for me that's a huge step back.

There will be physical rewards, Nintendo already said that long ago, so dont worry.What I mean is that I hope that you can use that money you get, and the discounts, to either buy games through the eshop, or buy the physical rewars that they offer.It incentives you to buy games, and with the extra money you get, buy even more games or physical rewards and even making you spend more money to use that discount you managed to get through the program.One way or another, Nintendo and the costumer wins.Its genial.

Edit:Oh, you mean if physical copies of games dont enter in the program too!Well, I dont know that, but i highly doubt that.They may be just for digital for this promotion, but Im almost sure they will also count with physical when the My Nintendo launches too.

Yeah that's what I meant. They haven't put in a replacement for the club nintendo codes that used to be inside game cases.

They'll start putting them after MyNintendo is on every market. I hope they put those codes on WiiU/3DS games too.
