Wii U was the top selling item on Target.com. Atleast what there offical page is saying

As all uncomfirmed news. This should be taken with a grain of salt.

So target says it was its biggest online Black friday sale ever. And those were mostly driven by three products : Apple Ipad, Apple watch and Wii U gaming console.

If this is true, whats your opinion? and do you think Wii U can potentially outsell the PS4 and XBOX ONE during the black friday week?

Unless they had some awesome bundle, its false as false can be.

I think Target had the cheapest Wii U deal.The smash + splatoon bundle was 220 there if im not mistaken.Maybe the people who wanted a Wii U went in droves to there?

Huh, I wonder how the PS4 and XBO did in comparison. I doubt the Wii U can touch the other 2 in sales, but at least it is good to see it is doing well enough. : )

I figure instores, PS4 and XBO are doing way better.

Only 50 cheaper then a PS4 or X1 bundle, wiiu has always been cheaper and failed agianst them sales wise.  

I cant see why this would be such a mass success given wiiu always was the cheaper option.

The XBOX one gears of war bundle is only available in stores, so yes maybe. The results we get from Nintendo, sony and microsoft after the black friday week is preatty exciting. but yes i think PS4 and XbOX one should be able to outperform Wii U, because its more advertised.

Not doubting this is true, but I just don't think it's as big a deal as it appears at first glance. I remember stories like this last year as well; "Retailer X sells through entire Wii U stock in 30 mins!" Everyone thought Wii U sales would explode and it never happened. Something tells me this is a similar situation

The PS4 bundle at Target only includes The Uncharted Collection. It doesn't have two newly esteemed games, unique to the console included, and like you said. It is $50 more + extra tax.

Same with regards to XBO and Gears of War Ultimate. 

Also you make the mistake to think that the audience interested in a $250 Wii U + Splatoon + SSBU would also be equally interested in a PS4/XBO. The demand curves are not the same and these goods are not perfect substitutes. 

I don't see it outselling PS4 or XOne, but it should hopefully mean a really nice boost
