No sales numbers brackdown, this is almost word for word the same thing Microsoft said about Halo sales. And you guys realy are assuming hardware revenue is not included.

tsc, tsc, tsc...

That´s so cute.

Off course Activision gets a piece of each bundle sold. Michael Pachter says it MS and Sony have to pay $40-50 for each third party game bundled.

It's Black Ops 3, it gets a free pass because Sony has marketing.

So it sold more than last two CoD released.
Less then previous ones.

After a good decrease in sales it start to get stream again.

And to beat Destiny TTK in day one digital is really a good feat.

It is the same PR posted in previous CoD... shipment sales reveune without any hardware counted.

Just stop.

The MS Halo PR was a shame of spin because the game sold way way way less than previous Halo.

Uhh, I really doubt Activision is co-opting Sony's hardware sales, they only get their cut from the copy of the game sold with the unit, not the whole thing.

For comparisons sake, Black Ops 2 revenue was 500 million day one.

Yes it sold better than last year AW but less than previous CoD.

That is why they used this year.

I guess the record will be short lived and will be broken by Fallout 4 in a few days time or maybe even Battlefront

Bwahahahahahaha  No chance neither of those games is anywhere near CoD in popularity.

Try as you might ethomaz.

But Microsoft always included hardware revenue when talking about Halo first days sales. At least since Halo 3. How do you know harware, or at least Activison share of each bundle, is not included this time.

You should have followed that Neogaf thread more throughly. We are now just in a era of heavy scrutiny for anything MS related.

Unless you belive Activision is giving bundles for free there is no reason to assume part of it is into the $500mi.

Hardware is not counted... it is revenue from shipped units to retail like previous CoD PRs.

They are only mad due Halo hilarious PR.

So Activion gets nothing for bundling a game?

We should think better who is hilarious here.

MS never included hardware and I can prove that.

Halo 3 revenue was about $300m.

300k LE x $130 = ~$40m (it was more because 300k was only US)
4.3m x $60 = ~$260m

Ohhhh wait seems like the units sold to retail reached the $300m week 1.

Including the bundles units ($60 each not the hardware) and others things it is pretty inline with what Halo 3 did at launch (about 5m copies shipped to retail WW).

There is no way to get $300m with Halo 3 including $399 hardware... you will get way more revenue if you do that.

PS. I did the maths for GAF about Halo 3 and Halo 4... it was a guy trying to say it was included hardware but it was not... everybody agreed... so stop to use examples that goes againt you.
