I gotta say that I disagree with you. I've had many great experinces with my handheld consoles when I used to play them and never felt limited as the titles were almost always designed for the consideration that it was a handheld title.
The real issue here is that Sony fans are passing this off as nothing and trying to turn this into a positive thing where as it's actually pretty tradgic considering that the Vita had so much potential. Sony is officially giving up on its handleld, and most would say rightly so being that it's not doing too well. However, if this were Ninteno everyone would be in an uproar and put Ninteno on a stake.
The absolute most tradgic issue at hand is that there is now less innovation in the handheld sector, a sector that's dying off and no one seems to care. Maybe one day we'll get the ultimate gaming cellphone (one that doesn't involve linking a PS3 controller to) but until then the handheld market is rapidly disintegratingy with no indication that either console manufacturer is doing anything about it.
And by the way, the bias in this thread is so strong it reminds me of that one time I went down on my ex who didn't take a shower and smelled of freshly caught fish. She became my ex for a reason, you know.
I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!
