Great move and long in the wait. More support for Ps4.

Exactly, as it should be.The handheld market of a dedicated gaming device is dead with even the 3DS selling less than it's predecessor and the next will sell even less. There is no longer any place for a dedicated handheld gaming device and now Sony can focus whole heartedly on home console since the PS2 days before the PSP.Everyone should be happy about this as handheld never delivered a high quality gaming experience and was always limited.

I gotta say that I disagree with you. I've had many great experinces with my handheld consoles when I used to play them and never felt limited as the titles were almost always designed for the consideration that it was a handheld title.

The real issue here is that Sony fans are passing this off as nothing and trying to turn this into a positive thing where as it's actually pretty tradgic considering that the Vita had so much potential. Sony is officially giving up on its handleld, and most would say rightly so being that it's not doing too well. However, if this were Ninteno everyone would be in an uproar and put Ninteno on a stake.

The absolute most tradgic issue at hand is that there is now less innovation in the handheld sector, a sector that's dying off and no one seems to care. Maybe one day we'll get the ultimate gaming cellphone (one that doesn't involve linking a PS3 controller to) but until then the handheld market is rapidly disintegratingy with no indication that either console manufacturer is doing anything about it.

And by the way, the bias in this thread is so strong it reminds me of that one time I went down on my ex who didn't take a shower and smelled of freshly caught fish. She became my ex for a reason, you know.

I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!

The Sony first party offering has been extremely weak anyways. I wouod rather they localised stuff.

I'm still waiting for tales of innocence r and Sega obviously needs help with the phantasy star games.

Its pretty know by now but yet the vita still keeps getting exclusive games from Japan which satisfying for vita owners

R.I.P. PS Vita

A first party developer is a developer owned by SCE. So if a first party game is game owned by SCE then you could count the F2P game BigFest as first party Vita game in development.

Maybe the last first party game in development for Vita.

Don't copy random editorials.

I'd like to know if people would be so nice if Nintendo did the same with the WiiU/3DS. Just saying.

Nintendo games are the reason to buy a nintendo console, mostly.

Without Nintendo, what is the WiiU ?
