Is it me or is the new season off too a bad start ( no spoilers here). I loved the previous seasons but yeah so far the first two episodes have been poor to say the least. Seems to me this programme is going downhill esp compared to game of thrones which remains consistently good every episode. Thoughts?

The series went downhill to me ever since S01Ep02.

Last episode was in my opinion the best one in the series and would be even better if they would take that dude with the wood stick away to Deathland.

Ha lol yeah he annoyed me too. I thought seasons 1-4 were good though, and parts of 5 were good. 6 seems a bit hit n miss so far

Sure, the series has its ups and downs, and sincerelly it cant keep eternally getting better, there is always going to be a part here and there that we are going to be dissapointed, but the season started great.

The odd episode is fun to watch but they've killed the show for me with the pacing. When I think of a zombie show, I want some zombie action every episode. But they're focusing on people emotions and blarrgghhh, which would be fine if it wasn't so fudge damned slow

It would help if you waited till the season was done. I've done that. I only saw season 1. I have now 2-5 waiting for me.

I thought the last episode was alright but ya the guy with the stick needs to get a grip (and hes is honestly not that great with the stick).
The problem with the show for me has always been the bad casting, like right now I dont think I'd care if any character dies that aren't from season 1

Actually, I quite enjoyed these first 2 episodes, given how often they turn into The Boring Dead with all the unnecessary yapping, so I'm hoping they'll keep this pace throughout the season.

Not that I don't like talking and introspection in the shows, I'd say quite the opposite given that Mad Men is my favorite show, but a lot of the times TWD is not doing it very good.

Season Six is off to a great start imo.

Well must just be then. To me it's like every new character we meet, dies 10 min into episode.
