Title says it all. Will 2015 sales be up or down from 2014? So far, up until the end of August VGChartz has the Xbox One at ~2.9 million for this year so far. Last year managed to sell around ~7.9 million. Will the Xbox One be able to sell enough in Sept-Dec to stay up YoY?

Stupid question. Halo 5 + the inevitable price cut = 50 million xbox one sold. Basic geography question.

i think 2015 will be lower than 2014. The price cut last year + various deals really boosted things quite a lot.

This year they seem to be a lot less aggressive. I don't see it unless they go to $299, which would be a fantastic number to hit and bring in a lot of the masses, as sub $300 is a big psychological barrier.

Since it's up a bit from last year, I'll say it's going to stay flat or a bit up.

They're already up YoY by a good margin. Then Halo and the stupid crazy shit they will do BF and December. It shouldn't be too hard.

Then again, 4m is not a small number from now on.

Unless the PS4 price cut absolutely kills the Xbox Ones sales this holiday, it should be up.

Up year-on-year. I doubt they're going to go down without a fight this year globally in the US.

If they're up year-on-year, then they're bound to be down next year. If they're down year-on-year...the decline will be smaller.
