Ah okay but it would have been cool to have a price drop across Asia and not just its eastern parts.

Would be nice if Sony announces the price cut for western markets soon to keep the positive news flowing rather than wait till October 27 for Paris games week to announce it.

Sony seems determined to completely dominate this gen much like the they did during the PS2 years.


Japan devs have pretty much gone PlayStation exclusive and now with this price cut, and several jrpgs launching soon, Sony is in full control.

For now anyway. Let's see what NX brings to the table next year :)

Some of the biggest retailer here were already selling it at ₱17,995.00(card) / ₱16,995(cash) since the start of this year IIRC.
