Forums - Gaming Discussion - Activision - the leaders in "remastering" unwanted and unneeded games

Wow. I'd pick it up for very cheap but $50? I waited last gen, I can wait now.

I don't mind this even if I am surprised by it. My main issue is why on Earth would they price it at $50 when the last gen version is widely available for $15-20 range now. This is a port so not even like getting a frame rate or resolution bump to try and rationalize it.

Who on Earth asked for this? What is the market?

All I can think is that porting costs are so low that they need absolutely tiny sales numbers to break even, any other reason doesn't make sense. Hopefully it'll end up on PS+ as a freeby and I can play it for free, definitely wouldn't pay anywhere near $50 for it, maybe $20 tops if I happen to be in a drought (very unlikely anytime soon).

I'm sure we'll see a "Call of Duty Collection" for the PS4/XBox One at some point.

No, see, it won't just be a collection of Call of Duty games. There will be:

Call of Duty Classic Collection: Featuring the first three Call of Duty games remastered for the current generation, return to World War II and fight famous battles once more in this collection! As a bonus, we've also included Call of Duty 5: World at War, the last Call of Duty game to date to focus on the second World War.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Collection: Go back to the beginning of the Modern Warfare series and relive the adrenaline, fear, and betrayals that made this trio of games so popular. Experience the exciting moments again in 1080p at 60 FPS. That's not all though. The multiplayer of each game is accessible so that you can play your favorite maps once more with your friends and the online community.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Collection: We just decided to cut out the campaigns and multiplayers and make it one big zombies mode. You're welcome.

Call of Duty: It Didn't Fit Anywhere Else Collection: Honestly, we just didn't know what else to do with Ghosts and Advanced Warfare.

Jokes aside, I can completely see the first three happening. A classic experience, and the two most successful CoD series to date, released during the downtime between annual releases. Hell, I could see using the MW and BO collections to take the place of an annual release if they want to be super lazy about it.

Instead of remastering the same turd why not make a new game to go along with the sequel?...

Dead pool was am actual good game. It's humour was really well done

I take it, this is the 1%.

Pretty much. Game was supposed to be well written and funny, just not a very good game to play.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

I could see all the Treyarch games getting grouped together - so World At War + Black Ops + Call of Duty 3

Then they could group the Modern Warfare games together.

But I suppose your way would make more money, perhaps.

whatever makes the most money is my motto when it comes to video games. these companies need to just make as much money as possible, and as long as theyre doing that, im happy.

Why not give something the fans want HD collection of spyro or spiderman 2.
