If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Is that real? They may as well just pack a code in the box and not bother using a disc at all.

Waste of DVD, better to just sell a card with a scratch off code.

We can go cheaper... it fits on a CD.. why would we waste a DVD..

Good point, normally I would say DVD offers better copy protection but in this case there's nothing worth bothering protecting !

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

If this trend continues then we could all the way back to getting games on floppy disks! I still treasure you, Commander Keen trilogy 5.25" floppy disk, if only I had a computer to put u in .

but it comes with a box. isn't that why people by physical?

Project Cars and MKX were the same.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I only buy physical, but I don't buy games that have a box-only, no disc variant, because the main point is for me to play without online, because mine sucks where my consoles are, and they very rarely can connect.

That plus being a luddite.

No. At least 80% of the game install should be from the disc. That is the major reason why. 2 hours to install GTA V from discs. You have to have a connection going faster than 40MB/s sustained, to do that.

We have a winner!

Wow. So if you buy the physical version what you get is a link for the digital version? Isn't that false advertisement?

That's DRM for you. Besides, I'm sure Steam is listed as a requirement on the box, so no false advertisement here.
