Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on hard difficulty.

This, except on normal. After playing it on normal once there was no way in hell I was gonna carry it up to hard mode.

I've only beaten it three times, once for each difficulty, and the last time was just brutal for me.

It's my favorite game of all time.

Although agreed, Hard mode is brutal. (And hard mode in the US and EU is Normal Mode in Japan, keep that in mind) xD

You've got that mixed up. Easy in US = Normal in Jap, Normal is US = Hard in Jap.

In RD's case, difficulties were not tweaked, but rather renamed. Normal/Hard/Maniac was renamed to Easy/Normal/Hard.

I just found this while researching. I thought they tweaked the difficulties due to Japan's feedback on it.

Actually, POR had a Maniac mode in Japan, but it was removed and an Easy mode was added for US.

So US had Easy, Normal, Hard

and Japan had Normal, Hard, Maniac.

This is different than RD.

I think COD 4 on Veteran difficulty, and Halo 2 on legendary in co op.

I vvould say if it is something that I beat before then it is probably easy. Legendary on co op had some nice aggro splitting so I could get most of the enemies. The hardest parts vvere vehicle sections. Last boss took a lot of tries and took forever but much funner so ultimately felt easier.

OT: Ikaruga, Played a lot of bullet hell games at the time and this one made me  quit them.

Yes! There are more enemies which are also harder to fight, and if either you or your partner dies, it goes back to the last checkpoint. That wasn't the only problem, MCC still has many bugs and gltiches. So whilst playing a mission, there was always a fear that we would get desynced or disconnected :S .

Isn't that only if you have the Iron skull on?

No, although the Iron skull has the same effect.

http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Iron_(Skull)#Trivia

In Halo 2, the skull is partially useless, as on Legendary (the difficulty in which it must be collected) it's effect is already in effect, and its change is only noticeable if the player switches to another difficulty without switching off theirconsole.

Wait, so does that mean if playing Halo 2 on solo it would send you right back to the beginning of the mission if you died, regardless of your skulls?

No, no, if you die, it doesn't take you to the beginning of the mission, just goes to last checkpoint like it always has.
