I don't mind trampolines in a safe environment and your underwater sections were alright. They didn't annoy me. Just the resets when you go too far away from yoshi or a trampoline are annoying.

Believe me, that's the most frustrating part of making a puzzle level. Hours of revising trying to get stuff to stay put. Every block in my latest level is strategically placed to slow you down enough to allow the Clown car to catch up (so it doesn't disappear), be visible where possible, and not have essential items reset while you play. I almost gave up on Companion Bill cause the damn launcher kept disappearing. It's only a few blocks off screen when things reset, and more annoyingly some things go / fall through obstacles off-screen, eg blue platforms and black flowers.

And yeah you have to take Yoshi along, use a door or pipe and everything you're not holding goes back to its starting place. Only bomb damage, removed coins and used power ups are permanent. (Which has its own problems, not being able to reset that)

It's pretty obvious the engine was purely designed to be used for always going forward in one direction.

Just played your 3 fire levels and starred them. Fair challenge, not too hard, not too easy.

Was my ghost house too hard for you? :p Thanks for the stars though, only need 14 more!

I got lost at the one room with the pipe blocked by those blocks, then got tired of trying to find it out...

You break it with the spiky helmet you find in the room before that lol.



Only need 9 more stars, so please play my levels if you haven't yet! :p

Seems I'm stalled at 143 stars, 20/20 levels uploaded.
My oldest (6) made a level today, I won't upload it though. Now I know where the 'walk to the finish' levels come from. Once I told him he had to finish it himself this time, he pretty much removed every obstacle lol.

Is there a difference in rewards between easy and normal 100 Mario missions? Is it worth plodding through twice the amount of levels to go through normal?

Btw my stats are horrible compared to yours, 3918 lives lost on 603 levels :)

You don't get rewards anymore after 20 easy challenges. Just like you won't get rewards anymore from normal challenges after a certain amount of times. You're forced into hard mode then lol.



Congrats Samus, you put a lot of work in your levels.

I'm finally starting to make another level, it's been a while but I needed some time to think about what I was going to do, and I decided to make another long, challenging puzzle level. I just can't do other type of level (except auto-play, but those aren't popular anymore). Thanks to the password system I don't have to worry about how long the level is. I shared my first level with password to some random players and managed to figure out how the password system works.

Svennoj I'll check your levels, you are very close to 150 stars so I'll help you
