I know the X1 controller gets nocked for not having a rechargable battery but iMHO, its better off because it does not include one.  The PS4 and WiiU gamepad really such when it comes to battery life and I am constantly recharging them.  As for my X1, the Rechargable batteries I already have in the home usually gives me a solid week of gameplay before a recharge.

the wiiu gamepad needs alot of juice, but its a freaking tablet and you can play offscreen. its only normal that it needs to recharge more often-

Only because Nintendo deliberately shipped the tablet controller with a much too small battery, only half of the battery compartment is used. If they had implemented the "high capacity battery" (even 2550 mAh is a joke for a tablet) in every Wii U tablet controller (or at least in the ones of the premium model), it would have costed them $2 - $5
extra... but they wanted to sell these bigger batteries (which have 3x battery life) as accessories for $30 instead.

yeah, but the tablet batterie life is okayish. android standard.

No, even the cheap tablets have a battery life of 6 - 8 hours, the better ones 8 - 12 hours.

If you are lucky, you get 3 - 4 hours battery life on WiiU with the standard battery.

Never used an Xone controller. I have a U And PS4. I have to go with the pad. Even though the DS4 is a big improvement over past PlayStation controllers, the pad is still more comfortable. Having both analogs down just feels wrong.

The only one that I used this gen

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Update:

I held the X1 controller and I have to say it was even better than the 360 controller, which was the best traditional controller prior.

1: Game pad(X1 is more comfortable but the touch screen edges out)

2: X1

3: DS4

DualShock 4 is where the features meets the ergonomics.

Edit: I love it how the OP tries to lead the poll by saying the DS4 is in a far 3rd place and then boom, the results lol

Dualshock 4
Wii U Pro Controller
Xbox One controller that's pretty much on the level with the pro controller.
