I felt like it had more in common with metroid than zelda. And there was nothing to do in the world. But i did enjoy it. Best final boss in the series in my opinion and the graphics are great.

Yah, I've seen some puzzles that look like they're ripped from Corruption.

Good dungeons, pretty much everything on the ground is interesting and fun. I thought the motion controls were greatly implemented for the most part. The sky gets boring really fast because of how empty it is, this is not helped by the fact that there's no warping mechanic at all in the game forcing you to fly everytime you wanna go somewhere else.

In summary, it's a really good Zelda game but it does come with some irritants. For some it'll ruin the experience completely, for others it's just a mild annoyance.

I think Aonuma has not found a good overworld. While the surfwace was good, the sky was the opposite.

And the other overworlds are empty. Not much hope for Zelda HD.

Yeah, Aounuma seems to have really big problem with designing overworlds. But, at least from what was shown till now, I have the feeling that Zelda U might be different in that regard, I actually liked quite a bit what I saw.

From what we've seen of Zelda U, I'll have to agree that the overworld does look good and the game does seem like a true open world. I just hope the overworld is not as empty as past entries.

Well, landscape design seems pretty good from what they've shown so far and it seems they've payed attention to vertical aspect as well, which I find very important in open-world games. I think they just need to populate it with enough interesting creatures and smaller caves/dungeons, especially if they're further improving on SS with equipment upgrades, and we'll almost by default get better overworld than any Zelda game so far.

For a first playthrough, if you can get into the story, the intro isn't bad at all, and definitely, most certainly absolutely not anywhere near as bad as Twilight Princess'.

Why do people hate Twilight Priness so much? It's my favorite Zelda game out there

TP is a perfectly enjoyable Zelda game, but there's something about it that feels off to me.

Best 3D Zelda. I'm in love with motion controls.

You mean that it was the game everyone asked for and yet people still whined? Yeah, that's off.

"I want another Zelda like OoT!!!"

"TP is just an OoT clone!!! hurr durr hurrr!"

It's amazing. It'll make you want to play the next Zelda so hard.

+Great puzzle designs
+Fully orchestrated music
+More emotional story compared to others
+Motion controls add a nice level of gameplay mechanics

-Motion controls arent always solid
-Not much to do outside of story
-Lame overworld
-Reuse of bosses was lame
-Repetition of areas (and spirit world) was annoying
-Small and restrictive world

It is still a good game with some of the best puzzles in any Zelda game, but as far as Zelda games go this one was the most linear.

As long as it's not a staright hallway like FFXIII, then I think I'll be fine with it.

Hahaha not even close. But it is mostly 'go here, search for clues, find dungeon through puzzles, complete dungeon through puzzles, fight one of the few recycled bosses, repeat step 1'.

Rather than a linear walkfest it instead has linear formulaic design. Constent dungeons with no real down time or side quests.

Well, I never wanted another Zelda game like OoT since I loved Wind Waker!
