Forums - Gaming Discussion - Metacritic Games 2015: PS4 is the number 1

WE ALL LOVE VIDEOGAMES - This is no theory, this is a fact. The topic: The PS4 has the most games and the best 2015. you can see that on metacritic. Also on ign.com there is a listing of all games. This year is very interesting, i think.

Number of previous 75+ titles for each console, according to Metacritic in 2015:

PS4:   53
Xbox1:   27
wiiu: 8

PS: What will this year Game of the Year? It's difficult to say. That remains to be seen, but i think Metal Gear Solid 5, Bloodborne or Persona 5. Your opinion? Maybe Witcher 3 has a good chance too.

I am very curious about your thoughts. Have a good evening to all of you :)

Yeah but some are not review on X1 due to being the "inferior" version. I would think that would skew the results some, also Wii U doesn't get most mutiplats (which is its own fault IMO) which leaves the numbers pretty one sided

MGS5, The Witcher 3, FO4, Batman AK, BloodBorne are all ready in the top ten contenders in most of journalists head.

Well, PS4 has the most games of the three consoles, and most multiplats are reviewed only on PS4 because that version is better, so the totals are certainly skewed...

Not hard to "win" metacritic when they count lazy remasters like Journey. And RE: R 2 and Life is Strange are counted 5 times each (only 3 in total for the xbone). Even though they barely qualify as one game when combined. A lot of the other games are also on xbone but score much lower for some reason, even when there is zero difference (Shovel Knight).

Considering most of the games are just remasters or ps3 direct ports (like bastion). Should we include the Wii U backwards compatibility or soon to be xbox one compatibility?

Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 will be the most heavily awarded games of they year. A few other games might snatch an award or two

Considering the games on the PS4 list does Rare Replay count as 30 seperate games?

Yes. And PS Now. I want these stupid lists to take 12 hours to factually make.
