Welp, for all my disparaging of them, the Bengals have actually made a game out of this. Glad to see at least one playoff game will end in an interesting way...even if the preceding 55 minutes were a travesty of football.

If I had to bet on a Bengals team, I would much sooner bet on a team without Andy Dalton than one without AJ Green, Marvin Jones, Greg Little, Giovanni Bernard, and Jeremy Hill. |
You're mistaking "complete" for "deep." A "complete" team can compete on all fronts, because the opponent can't simply deny them on one or two areas. Taking out a compenent automatically stops you from being "complete." And if that missing component is the quarterback, you're effectively denying yourself much of the pass game, which will hamstring you regardless of how complete you used to be. Your own example is highly illustrative: one QB has to be put against six other offensive starters just to make things balanced!
On the game: oh crap! Never thought they'd actually take a lead at this point!
Never mind, I take back everything I said.
This game is stupid and nothing will ever redeem it.

Back to back screw ups, with Big Ben trotting on to either have a comeback or toss the game? I, at long last, am entertained.

Welcome to the 2015 NFL Season.
So the Steelers are aware of the clock having under 30 seconds, right?

Why is Cincinnati using time outs? |
The clock's already stopped (either by going out of bounds or a Pittsburgh time out), and they want to organize their defense.
