All Kickstarter funds are now going towards new content.

Despite its Kickstarter being at just over half its funding goal with four days left, development on Red Ash: The Indelible Legend is greenlit, and not only for PC and PlayStation 4, but for Xbox One, as well.

Fuze Entertainment, a Chinese digital entertainment company, has joined Comcept as a partner on the title, and as a backer of sorts. That means the initial “KalKanon Incident” portion of the game (three episodes, eight hours total) will be developed to completion. Comcept will retain the rights to the game, as well.

As for the Kickstarter campaign, if it succeeds, all money will go towards more content. “Consider your pledge a contribution to stretch goals from here on out,” Comcept said. As for what they are, they’ll share more about that in the future.

“We know we’re in the final days of our campaign, but we’d like to ask fans to continue their support of RED ASH! Your money is going towards 100% content now, so please look forward to the revised “stretch goals”!”

If you missed it, Comcept released a playable mock-up of the game yesterday.

Fund the Red Ash Kickstarter here.

That'll be all the funding they'll get cause they only get Kickstarter funds if funded... Unless this Chinese partner funded it through Kickstarter, which would be ridiculous.

I dont know. Fuse entertainment deal didnt just happen yesterday ..

Huh? reword that.

LOL

At least it's funded, I guess.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The funding they get from that Chinese company will be all this games gets, as it's not looking likely that it will reach its kickstarter goal, and as we know, you only get your Kickstarter money if your goal is reached. To get any money from Kickstarter, it has to receive 800k dollars in funding (currently at like 450k).

I'm actually surprised it got funded. I wouldn't be surprised if it bombs on release if it isn't really fucking good.

I have a feeling this will be a similar situation to Mighty No. 9. If not worse.
