I can't download it because of a bug with the upgrading software :/

You can manually download it here.

Is there any reason it keeps changing languages midway? >.<

Did you choose English at the start?

The upgrade process was a bit of a nightmare for me. Now that it's running well, I'd say it's a nice step up from Windows 7.

When it was installing on another laptop with 8.1, everything went with no setbacks. However, after installing it on my Windows 7 laptop, everything turned sluggish. Taskbar icons wouldn't load, Start menu wouldn't pop up, Cortana and the search bar wouldn't work, images wouldn't load, propietary apps wouldn't open, Task Manager would become unresponsive after a while... not a good start. The weird thing is that Task Manager showed a normal RAM, with Chrome being the process hog it is. Nothing unusual. After a 4 restarts, computer and apps works a bit better. Start menu opens 3 seconds after, Cortana/Search bar opens sometimes when I click on it. I hope this gets better after a week.

I'm liking it so far. Only have a few hours on it so far. Definitely like it better than Win 8.1. Less of a head ache to use.

that "sounds" like you probably have something installed that hooks explorer, perhaps something in your tray or an addin.

Something that hooks Explorer in what way? I really don't know what could it be on the system tray. It might have to do that this computer is one of the bloatware HP ones.

It's ok.

If I install that way using USB it'll still give me the full version willout the need for a product key for the legit version right? I never wanna deal with the unlicensed crap again, destroyed comps over time for me. Just a confirmation, because my W8.1 is the legit version of 64bit
