What is going on with this game, Super Run For Money Tousouchuu Atsumare! Saikyou no Tousou Monotachi

week 28: 13,571 (release)
week 29: 4,948
week 30: 6,757

Could this be a huge sleeper or did it go to bargain bin?

The game is based on a TV show in Japan. Last Sunday 19th they ran a special episode, so sales for this week July 20th-26th increased because this.

And no, it's not a sleeper, this is the sequel of the sleeper.  I still remember  the first entry with that +500% increase weekly. It sold more than 500k LTD.

Remember that game, kept going for weeks!

And as for Splatoon, wouldn't be surprised if it hits 40k in August. Hope the Wii U continues at this rate

Omg, Only In Japan™...what a great success story.

Well considering the first week it looks to be doing well, I can see 50k breaking quite easily. 50k still does not mean anything if sales expectations were completely on a different level. Or this special episode bump was the last hurrah and next week this game vanishes completely. Gotta keep eye on this.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

How can Makai Shin Trillion be sold out with 17k shipped?

Rubbish, retailers and Compile Heart.

My guess is the following : development has been completely erratic and CH started to lose faith in the project (it's pretty clear when you play it, it lacks content, variety and depth), so they decided to throw it as it was on the market with minimum stock. BUT as the characters and the base idea are appealing, people went for it like a average Nep game (~30K), hence today's situation. I hope that based on that enthusiam they can make a stronger in the same (extremely good) universe.

Huge discrepancy for Basara (not like it did good either way). Horrible week generally speaking, Yôkais destroying the market.

What games are ps4 owners playing exactly? It outsells the wiiu every week yet nobody buys games for the thing.

>PS4 game is 3rd on the charts

Not to mention all of the other titles in the top 30. There's no big releases (Sengoku Basara kinda bombed), but I don't think you can make the argument about the platform as a whole.

Oh, please. You only hate it because it's on the 3DS. Software sales would be significantly worse if it wasn't on the chart.

Well, that's one interpretation of his post.

Based on his post history, I think it's a pretty good interpretation.

Mmm, Splatoon is still holding strong.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Splatoon is still selling strong in Japan! Great to see
