I hadn't been paying much attention to that, other than to notice a couple of things:

1) Command and Conquer is selling surprisingly well on the 360

2) We sell as many Wii games as we do 360 games

3) I rarely sell PS3 games of any type

I will pay closer attention to this in the future to provide more detailed feedback on this.

I am a little bit surprissed about number 1, I actualy have problem to see why people would buy a RTS to a consol.
Number two I guess can depend on that you sell much more Wii:s than xbox360
Number 3, I honestly think that everybody that buys a PS3 is a hardcore gamer and I have problem to see those people buying games at Toys R Us.
Other than that keep up the good work.

Bodhesatva, any update please?

I dont work at any game store. But yesterday i bought a Xbox 360 elite at my local EB games store near Pittsburgh. It was the last one they had. On the other hand they had two 60 gigs PS3's on the shelf...one being used. I did notice when the worker went to the backroom to fetch my 360 a very large stack of ps3 boxe's....roughly 10.. probably more..but i think 10 is a safe number to guess.. Unsure but they did have the box of a wii...soo maybe they had a few...or they were teasing..

Thanks for doing this, Bodhesatva. I think it is easily pointed out that the majority of people who posted are appreciative of your efforts. Keep it up.

Back from work today!

I sold 4 Xbox360 games (Civil War x 2, which amazed me, 1 x Gears of War, and 1 x Spider Man 3) along with 2 Xbox 360s (One core system, which I'd entirely forgotten we even had).

We recieved 2 more PS3s, giving us a total of 6. We have not sold a PS3 unit for almost 3 weeks now.

Our next shipment of Wiis is on June 10th, so a little longer between shipments than usual.

I talked with one of the families who had purchased Civil War for their son. They mentioned that he was extremely good at video games, so much so that they had encouraged him to try to turn pro. I am a professional gamer myself (Unreal Tournament 1v1, obviously not enough money to sustain me by itself), so I talked to them about that. His preferred game is Halo. During the conversation, it was clear that their Son had disdain for the Wii, and they wondered why since they'd heard good things about it at work.

I had a customer come in today who had purchased a Wii last week, and it wasn't very busy, so I began talking with him. The only system he owned last generation was a PS2, but he said he had no interest in the PS3. He said he and his college buddies were getting a 360 for their dorm flat, but that his personal toy was the Wii. He seemed very satisfied with his purchase.

We're currently sold out of Xbox 360 Premiums (in case someone had done the math. I'd forgotten we have cores at all, so we do have 3 of those left). If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. I'll keep you all updated!

@ Bodhesatva

Thanks for an update. Great to have a first hand info here.

well, at least you are lucky enough to have wii shipments. I am in Taiwan, and here that Wii is not even launched yet. According to Nintendo, they need to satisify Europ, US, and Japan needs before they can get a product line to serve Taiwan. The PS3, however, has been launched months ago. BUT I do have a wii, got from some one from Japan and paid with a significant premium. The current news is that Nintendo may Launch wii in Asia in August. This is just amazing how wii is demanded all over the World. The auto dealers, and banks here actually use wii lure customers. You know, You buy a car, and they give you a wii, or you open an bank account, you can enter a lottery to win a wii. It is crazy to see that the demand is so over the supply even after 6 months...I have never seen this happen in any products.

So, consider yourself fortunate to even talk about shipments.  We are still waiting for it to launch here, and there is a group of people waiting.....

I used to work at an EB until about a week or so ago, and the Gamestop company stockpiled many PS3's, but practically no Wii's, each store was incredibly lucky to get a shipment of 3-5 any two weeks.
