Forums - Gaming Discussion - Recommend an Exclusive Game to a Fan of Another Platform/Company.

Any Nintendo or Microsoft fan who hasn't played God of War III is missing out.

Any Microsoft or Sony fan who hasn't played any Donkey Kong Country game is missing out.

If you're a Sony or Nintendo fan, I have no Microsoft exclusives to recommend to you. Maybe Forza?

Nintendo: Rocket League

XBox: Naughty Dog in general

PlayStation: Bayonetta 2

PC: BloodBorne

Speaking from playstation:

Nintendo: so many indie titles with quirky graphics, solid gameplay and at a 1/4 of the price of what you normally play.

Xbox: killzone 2 or 3. It's got guns. It's got space nazis. It's got mechs, it's got space nazis. What else u want brah?

PC: just stick to your exclusive strategy games.. With those you don't need worry about the rest. Give out some hearts of iron on consoles will ya?

For PS fans: Xenoblade Chronicles X will arrive in December. Sure it's not your typical jrpg with teenage girls with voices that sound like 6 year olds. Or main male character with oversized shoes, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Xbox fans: Go to the gym and get in form, then join the army for some real action.

PC: Get a job at NASA. There you will find some high end computers to jerk off to.

To everyone non-Nintendo:

Play Super Smash Bros.

The N64 game? Not sure I'd agree with that recommendation today. Floaty jumps galore :)

From a PlayStation perspective:

Nintendo: Dark Cloud 2 -- Really interesting world building mechanics, tons of fun mini-games, and surprisingly addicting gameplay. I recommend this, because the series was intended to be a 'Zelda killer,' but it built its own personality with charming characters and worlds. The first game is kind of mediocre, but the sequel is stellar.

XBox: The Last of Us -- A really interesting expansion on the traditional "Gears of War" formula with a brilliant story, fantastic characters, and a wonderfully deep world.

PC: Persona 4 -- With the incredible fondness shown to games like Half-Life and classic adventure games, it is apparent that PC gamers are appreciative of good storytelling, though they often dismiss JRPGs, especially anime JRPGs. Persona 4 has the best writing of any game ever made, despite being weird and Japanese.

From a PC perspective:

Nintendo: Classic adventure games like Monkey Island --They're cartoony, imaginative, and just plain fun. I think Nintendo fans would be appreciative of them.

XBox: Starcraft -- Incredibly interesting Sci-Fi lore and a highly competitive multiplayer scene makes me feel that XBox fans would love Starcraft.

PlayStation: CRPGs like Fallout 2 and Baldur's Gate -- PlayStation is a heavily RPG-focused platform. With the severe lack of CRPGs, I feel like many PlayStation gamers are missing out on a genre they could love.

From a Nintendo perspective...

I'd recommend Smash Bros U and Mario Kart 8.
