In the first half of 2016, Zero Escape Volume 3 will make it's way 3DS and PlayStation Vita for North America.

Zero Escape Volume 3 is a direct sequel to 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doorsand Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. Unlike it's predecessors, the North American version of Zero Escape Volume 3 is in production alongside the Japanese version. The release window for the Japanese version of Zero Escape Volume 3 was not announced.

Not surprising, but generally good news indeed. It's so far away though... Hope it combines the tone of 999 with the mechanical improvements of VLR!

It's enjoyable novel schlock: don't expect Tolstoy, and it gets a tad muddled when you think about it too much, but overall it's a fun series of games. Just be warned that the two games are different in tone: the first is closer to a survival-horror novel, while the second is closer to a murder mystery. Either way, you should play them both, preferably in order.
