I'm going to start this off my giving a huge shoutout to the guys in Nintendomination. Huge respect. Tournaments and co-op play are things I really want to organize and take part in but it isn't easy to do, and not having a Wii U kinda cuts me out of your circle ; so I guess I'm stealing your idea here (jk). Anyhow:

I would like to gauge the community's interest in organizing gaming teams/coop playthroughs for online play. RE: Both co-op and competitive play with or against one another and against worldwide players in general. I was thinking along the lines of Battlefield/Halo/Fighting games/Racing games/Destiny raids etc but you're looking at a clean slate here so please feel free to suggest any games or ideas you may have. We could split into teams and create little emblems and team names for ourselves (d'awwww so cute) or whatever the heck you want. It could be competition between users, fanbases, against random plebs; anything! The possibilities are (almost) endless. All I know is that I want as much feedback as possible.  I would be honored to have the Ninty guys in on this but I recognize that they are light years ahead of me in the Nintendom thread so I respect if they don't.

If I get enough interest I would be looking for people to help out with planning and such since I don't have every system, and I would much rather share the duties with like-minded people. So for example: Shroomz if you guys decide you want to join in it would be great to have you up here, seeing your history of successful organization of Smash tourneys. If anyone else is willing to step up with a suggestion and a plan to organize something for a game/system then I welcome your input. Like I said I'm creating a blank canvas here for anyone to add paint to as they please.

If anything else I am looking to start a little friendly competition and cooperation amongst users and it really would make my day if we could get teams and/or leagues going. So what do you say? Does this sound like a good idea? If I need mod approval I guess if a mod could stick their head in here that would be great.

Sounds great, I would like to participated but alas, I don't have said consoles so I can't...

Also, I believe that the Xbox Republic also may host some play sessions too so you may want to poke around in there as well.

I haven`t been on the other console threads, but I have wondered for awhile if Sony and MS groups organize their own group gaming/tournament events... It would def be good if we could all play together with some MP games. I hope you manage to get a big group going : )
