I feel like if your going to buy a tablet, it should be x86 and have windows on it.
Else just stick with your smart phone.

"should I return it?"  honestly I would. It depends on your needs, if you really need it for some funktion right now and its cheaper than the alternatives that have windows on it, then yeah.

It can do far more than tablets and is more comfortable due to laptop form.

I seriously don't understand people's failure to actually understand what they use a pc for.

Its simple.

Chromebooks can replace nearly everyone's windows pc/laptop with the exception of a few things:

1) gaming (but you shouldn't be using a laptop for that anyways)
2) most professions, unless your a blogger and/or don't use specific windows based apps
3) highly tech based education

It can do everything else.

... and don't bring up the needing internet crap because who the hell owns a laptop and doesn't have internet access?

I love Chromebooks.

If you decide to sell, let me know. :)

Oh good, you know about it.

Can it do adobe and flash? What about Powerpoint andI stuff like that?

Who the hell needs to do adobe and flash anymore? No phones/tablets do that and pretty much everything has swtiched to HTML5.

Google docs replaces MSOffice well enough for any personal usage. It will open MSOffice and even save as MSOffice if you select it to do so.

I dont know, flash and adobe always seem to pop up. Adobe usually for form I think.

I've never had a site not work for me on my phone or chromebook.

You'll be fine. You can even test sites in the store if you are unsure.

I did not say, I just bought a chromebook, should I return it and why did I not ask the very knowledgeable mentally handicapped walmart employee what it can do?

Hey buddy, just gotta say you demonstrating lack of intelligence, education, and extreme impulsivity,
are not in a position to be denigrating others based on their current employment, or potentially mental disabiliti3es.

Again, I am not sure why you seem to be continuing to ask questions about what it can/can't do, when that has been answered already.
Chromebook is only going to do what is on Google Store means: LOOK AT GOOGLE STORE, AND WHAT'S THERE IS THE ONLY THINGS IT CAN DO.
(obviously, new programs will be added in future, but arbitrary Windows programs will never work)
You seem rather confused on the differences between Adobe Flash, Photoshop, and PDF functions.  Look it up.

FYI, incidentally you CAN re-install a full Linux operating system on these machines, enabling a fuller range of programs (if not standard Windows programs),
but given your apparent level of technical competence, I would NOT recommend that course of action in your case.

I dislike a chromebook.. The dependence on a internet connection and low storage space makes it less usefull then a tablet.. browsing, light typing works, watching a movie.. It all works fine but so it does with a tablet and a tablet has a better form factor.. Due to the app support and sd car expansion a tablet is much better for offline stuff..

The only thing i like about a chromebook is the keyboard, cause 3rd party keyboards for tablets are mostly meh.. But For the light stuff like browsing, reading an ebook etc i much prefer a touchscreen nowadys
