omg the internet and the drama, but i kinda understand. This digital event was a pos, yuck, just like the wii music conference (not that bad) but if you're a fan I don't think that a bad e3 presentation is going to change that. So stop saying omg I'm jumping ship because... why? yeah their show was bad but this year they have more content than last year.

Devil's Third, YoshiWW, Fatal Frame, Mario Maker, Mario Tennis, Star Fox and Xenoblade. Yeah it's not much compared to the third party games on xbox and ps4, specially on xbox because they won e3 for me and I don't even have one.(more content for 2015) but we know that since 2013. Last year Smash+bayonetta 2+Sonic Boom, 2013 3D World+WWHD, this year YoshiWW+Fatal Frame+Star Fox+Xenoblade+Mario maker, see? not that bad. btw I care about Devil's Third but the game has a stigma so whatever.

And... you don't have to jump any ship, you can ride every ship, even the ouya ship!

just my opinion I'm not trying to defend Nintendo and their dissatisfactory E3, But the wii u has content for 2015 and i see some dudes spreading lies.

So far they seem to have more games, but smaller quantity and quality per game. Which of the games you listed this year will be a game of the year contender like smash bros and bayonetta. Aside from mario maker, I doubt any of the games will get critical acclaim.

Xenoblade would have been a great title had it released last year, but after fallout 4 and witcher 3, it is hard to get excited for another open world that apparently has a worse story than the original.

2013 also had pikmin 3, rayman legends, and third parties.

2014 also had hyrule warriors, and captain toad.

I'm going with Sony. She knows how to please my gamer penis.

Hope you're OK with delayed gratification...

Sorry, couldn't resist the obvious joke combining the three headlining titles all being 2017 games and a reference to pleasing of a penis.

Sony didn't show a lot of games that I do want that are supposedly coming this year, so I was disappointed on that score. No Dragon Quest Heroes, no Persona 5. Yes, those are third party games, but there's nothing that says that they can't partner with a console maker if both parties agree to it. I'd have loved to see Sony make Persona 5 its Final Fantasy VII of 2015, especially with their 2015 lineup being otherwise on the bare side (I couldn't care less about the annual CallofAssField refreshes myself).

I'm pretty sure only Shenmue is a 2017 game...the rest were either 2015 or 2016.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

OT: I agree with most of what you said, OnionBerry. Except I thought Sony had a better conference than Microsoft. Anyway, the point is that I think Nintendo just didn't care about E3 and wanted more for their future Directs. I'm sure there are tons of games coming, so I'm waiting it out. So far it looks as though Nintendo has the best fall-holiday for this year with 1st party line ups, imo. It was next year's catalouge that I was worried about. At least we know Zelda will be there.

Wait, more content than last year? Interesting, some seem to think Wii U has taken a back seat.

Wii U had like 6 games last year, this year they have like 10, lel.

E3 was a disaster for them, but some of the reactions are worse.

You forgot StarFox. Which, as a guy who didn't enjoy StarFox 64, looked freaking awesome...
It's really funny. Everyone was going apeshit for StarFox, and now that they have it, it seems it disappeared from E3.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I think most people aren't just dissatisfied with the Digital Event, they are worried for the future.

As Nintendo didn't show anything long term, and we knew most of the short term games that they showed, nobody knows if there are going to be any big games in 2016.

As I don't like speaking for many people I'll spread out my point of view:
This uncertainty is really demoralizing to me, because it wouldn't be the first time Nintendo just left their current console out to dry.
Been there with the SNES, the N64 and the GCN. I skipped the Wii as I had lost confidence in Nintendo, just to come back to the Wii U just to see history repeat itself again.

So this possible early demise of the Wii U is really bugging me, and I can completely understand if people give up on Nintendo now, even if I'm not quite there yet.

Platforms: Wii U, New 3DS, PS4, PC

currently playing:
 -Yoshi's Wooly World
 -Pokemon X
 -Fire Emblem Fates

Zone: Europe (Germany)

Very very true! These people are just taking the advantage of the situation, making themselves famous on this site. And i like how theres more threads about Nintendo, than Sony's and Microsoft great e3 was.

Pocky Lover Boy!

If people can't handle a bad conference, they shouldn't be a fan of any company because they happen to everyone.

Yeah, I know Persona 5 is coming this year. My point is that I would have liked Sony and Atlus/Sega to partner up on Persona 5 promotions for the holiday 2015 schedule. From my end it doesn't matter, I will get P5 either way, but it doesn't mean that I wouldn't like Sony to have a hand in promoting the game to a wider audience.

Nintendo has always been kind of indifferent to big industry shows. Sure, sometimes they do big unveilings. But they were notorious for never participating in TGS in Japan and doing their own shows instead.
