You're not buying a Nintendo system because of Nintendo's awful E3 Direct? Interesting, I wonder if you said the same thing after their 2008 and 2012 conferences as well.

It's taken a lot to overcome my deeply rooted attachment to them, but the last four years have gradually eroded my tolerance for their bullshit.

I've been on the brink for the past few months, and now I can say with certainty that while I'll ride out the Wii U and squeeze as much out of it as I can, I will not be buying NX, or any future platform of theirs.

Sorry Iwata, your princess is in another castle.

i missed E3 what the hell happened to make Curl 6 quit?

Nintendo made a bad Digital Event.  There wasn't much really big shown for Wii U.  That's really all.  The reactions though would make you think they canceled XCX, Star Fox, Fatal Frame, and announced they will be focusing on mobile game ripoffs but nope.  Just a bad presentation.  Nothing Nintendo hasn't done multiple times before :P

And yes, it was legitimately a poor showing.

Found you zero, get banned!!!

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

My faith on Nintendo will be restored when there is a public apology and a mass resignation.

Of the three companies, Nintendo was most on target with showing games that you can play THIS YEAR, or early next year. I would prefer to be told directly what I'm supposed to expect, not be promised the world years in advance only to be disappointed. People are saying "Sony had the best E3 EVER!" but what the heck is actually exclusive? What am I getting from them that I can't get on PC or Wii U? TLG, Uncharted 4, and Dreams are all that looked good to me. 3 titles. For Wii U, I have 15 exclusives already and this fall, we have Star Fox and Super Mario Maker to look forward to, at the very least. Why is that soooo awful? Seriously?

Yes, it's clear they're holding big guns back for NX. Why is THAT a bad thing? Obviously general perception of the Wii U is bad, and having a fresh start would allow them to get better and bigger things out. For all the people saying "I'm done with Nintendo forever", what the heck does PS4 or Xbone offer? I'm so tired of all the samey-samey stuff. Literally, whether you have one or the other or a PC, the stuff you'd miss out on from not having the other is minimal. It's a childish mindset to have and completely ignorant. The Wii U took a year of system updates to really shine, but it's great now as a console. Chill.

Best comment on here so far ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I thumbs up that comment as well. best one so far. A lot of the Nintendo fans need to chill.

So buiness as usual. at this point i expect what i expect from each of them. Take that as you want it. Its best not to get too attached to these things.

Too harsh a reaction.

For me - its a simple decision. I'll not buy any of nextgen consoles until 'their second christmas'. WiiU was promising but sadly fell flat. (Which is actually very good for my wallet!)

I'm trying to see the bright side here. I don't have that much time for gaming, so now with big droughts and basically only games I'm not interested in announced, I might actually have time to play the games that I am interested in to completion. That's...good right..? Like I said before, I still love my WiiU and I'll be interested to see what Nintendo does with the NX but I can't deny I'm dissapointed with this digital event.
The World champoinships were awesome, and they only needed to give me a Metroid, and actual Animal Crossing and maybe a Paper Mario in the Direct to make me completely happy. What they did bring was a little insulting honestly, Animal Crossing Party? Really?
But I'll still buy their next console if they get their shit toghether and give me the content I want. I love nintendos games, I want to play them, I'm not going to deny myself that.

Wii U have very good Nintendo games, some of the best games in whole franchises and more are coming.
If they do same thing on next console too, I will buy it again.

One bad Nintendo E3 doesn't change anything really.
