Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Can Nintendo POSSIBLY beat Sony at E3?!

Can Nintendo Win?

LOL NO 204 42.77%

maybe...? 209 43.82%

uh... 64 13.42%

Total:477

If only people would realize who "won" E3 is completely up to the individual, because whether a game is liked or not is completely up to the individual. Therefore to many people Nintendo could still win E3 to them, and yes I'm one of them! Sony's conference was great, but still had a lot of downers to me. The Last Guardian gameplay was boring as hell, do you actually even play Dreams, a remake still just a game I could go dust off if I really wanted to play again, and while No Mans Sky, Battlefront, and yes even Call of Duty are awesome, they're multiplatform, so I can't really give Sony as much points for those. Also, keep in mind Nintendo's E3 had already begun from the Smash direct, and the World Championship was simply an absolute blast!

It's certainly achievable. It can even be done with just a single game.

Pokemon MMO

That, alone, would do it. Alternatively, I can think of five third-party titles that Nintendo could conceivably be funding, that would, between them, achieve the same result.

1. Half-Life 3.
2. Beyond Good & Evil 2.
3. Nintendo vs Capcom.
4. Timesplitters 4.
5. Starcraft: Ghost.

Heck, they could even do it with a sufficiently solid lineup of Nintendo and crossover games (and all of them being highly plausible, at least individually).

It's certainly not going to be easy, but it's certainly possible.

I can't think of a scenario where Nintendo will have a big enough reveal to beat that conference.

You rack creativity and imagination then. ;P

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

No. But the closest they could get is with the wishful Xenosaga collection + new Metroid.

Man this useless topics. Sigh...

What is it about winning and losing? All I can see is that Sony announced games I'm really not interested in, while Nintendo might announce games I'm interested in. In my POV, as long as you got interesting games coming up for your console of choice, nothing else really matters...

I don't know for you, but last year Sony did have a great conference too but it was like it never existed because all I was waiting for was the Digital Event and the Treehouse sessions. And last year they delievered a lot, so I'm confident they'll do the same this year.

Stop these pointless comparisons and judge the content regarding of your own expectations, not some other competitor that think's it's cool to have timed exclusives and overhyped kickstarter projects.
