It is true though that the 3 (4, if we include pc gamers) factions usually use the same arguments on the internet to promote their console and these arguments are usually idiotic. That should stop first.

It never use to be like this, but I think as consoles became very similar it made it worse. Back in the good old days you would buy one console for its exclusives, and then the other if you liked the other huge list of exclusives. but nowadays its all too similar and people can't justify why they bought it and are a tad insecure about it.

I don't agree with your generalisations of what each console owner is supposedly generalised as. You might want to question yourself there.

Everyone is saying this but I don't agree with it. My favourite time of gaming was during PS2 era when Sony was dominating competition because I have all of the games I want to play on one console. Nowadays if I want to play all Atlus games I must buy 3DS for Shin Megami Tensei IV, PS3 for Persona 5, Wii U for Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Vita for Persona 4 Golden. PS2 had all the Atlus games that gen.
