Hi mates, 

I'm on a small projet. The project is about a summary of what all the new players in the future would "need" to know about the gaming industry. An insight point of view from the gamers. It's hard to explain since english is not my first language, but the goal is to concentrate all the most important one of webpage for all the future player who would like to get the consensus of many gamers in the world about precise subjects. 

Here is a small list to help you picturing it : 

- The Dreamcast was a beloved console.
- Shenmue 3, Bayonetta 2, Half life 3, FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Last Guardian was and still are for some of them one of the most anticipated titles.
- The Gamecube was a flop. 
- Super Mario, Mario 64, Ocarina of time and GTA3 are considered the most revolutionary games in the industry. - Smash Bros melee is unrivaled according to the fandom.
- Lucas Blight is considered one of the best villain in the genre by many. Kefka, Magus and to a lesser extent Sephiroth are great contenders too. 
- Dualshock 1 and 2, and Playstation vita D-pad are the best for fighting games, according to many pro players who play on controller instead of stick. 
- Metroid other M divided like no other games before. 

So in your opinion, what others information would the future player need to know about the gaming industry ?

Hmm, let me think of a few...

-PS2 is the best selling console of all time.
-SNES is widely regarded as the best console of all time.
-Gamers loathe Superman (N64) and E.T. (Atari 2600)

- Final Fantasy was best in the PS1 era.
- JRPG's aren't about grinding, you just don't know how to play them.
- Persona is a sub-series of the Shin Megami Tensei series.
- Super Mario Galaxy is the best game ever made, face it.

Nintendo get away with murder

What future players need to know about games and gaming industry ?

16 bit games have aged the best.

VR isn't the future (I mean, they will know if it is or isn't, but it'll be fun to see what we thought right?)

If you don't like games designed to be hard it isn't that you have a preference it is that you apparently suck at games.

If you Kickstart the game, it won't get made.

If a game has DLC it is a soulless cash grab.

If a game doesn't have DLC the developers have no faith in it and have abandoned it before ever giving it a chance.

Lastly, if it has jiggle physics and you play it you are a pervert.
