I’d love a really good high budget rpg. But that’s a massive project, that I doubt is realistic. That’s a project that needs 300ish people for 3-4 years. So unless 343 is completely dedicated to it without working on 6 till it’s done than I doubt that’s happening. A warzone spinoff or battle royal type could probably be done in the same timeframe by half the people. That would allow for simultaneous development with 6.

Honestly, at this point, MS are going to have to perform some kind of miracle to sell me on the idea of getting a new Xbox console next gen. I've loved Xbox since they first came out with it. Both the OG and 360 are some of my favorite consoles ever, but what they're doing this gen......ya....sorry, but it's complete weaksauce. Maybe they are working on a bunch of awesome games, and holding them all back for next gen....maybe....but are they gonna have a fanbase left by then?

And all my interest has gone....Sigh 343 are going to end up chasing after BR like every other studio aren't they? I can't wait until next gen Honestly they could have made ODST 2 with a great story and slapped a BR mode on it for multiplayer as ODST never had a multiplayer mode (Not including Firefight) and it would fit it better than a Spartan based game.

I’ll be happy with any halo as long as it’s good. If it is multiplayer only than that probably means all their sp devs are really dialed in on 6. It’s campaign needs a transformation. It also needs to be more than 6-7 hrs. 

 

I also really hope they pay attention to god of war 4. From the looks of it and from the reviews they poured their hearts into developing their one dementional protagonist into a very moving, very deep character. The potential is their for chief as well. I know Steve has the talent to take the character to new heights.

So, It's going to lead into Halo 6 isn't it? Should be able to release in 2019 alongside or slightly before Halo 6? I was starting to hope that Microsoft would just delay Halo 6 into 'Next Gen' along with Fable IV & Perfect Dark but I guess Gears 5 will do.

I don't really want them to delay all of the titles into next gen, I feel like the Xbox One hasn't gotten enough support from them and cutting it off early like that would not make me happy.

I'm with VG. What about the Xbox one X. Man make the games and release them when they're ready no matter what. Also, I hope they get creative because that's the main thing that's been lacking this generation from Xbox studios.

I've played a lot of Halo 5. A lot. I don't think it needs a major shake up. The story needs to be tighter and definitely needs more real maps for Warzone and Arena. Not that Forge crap. I love the multiplayer aspect. The smurf accounts need to die but there is no stopping that.

Brute Force was such a good game. I really loved it on my original Xbox.
I really hope Microsoft comes up with a new one at some point or maybe have it on BC would be a good start.

I have a question, would there be a possibility of early Xbox 2 games being compatible with the 1x?

How are they going to avoid the confusion when base xboners buy a 1x exclusive game by accident, due to the similar name of the console?

Would they go with a box like this? (imagine the two console names are the X1X and X2 instead):
