Probably Japanese-only games for this year that release this summer.

Excited for E3!

A Japanese Nintndo Direct for Japanese games... not that strange and E3 showcases games that are being released in the West, not in Japan

Same say as MH event;
coincidence, I think not!

Many western gamers (and I would argue the majority of Western Nintendo gamers) still obsessively pay attention to the Japanese Directs and I am pretty certain Nintendo knows it. Just because it is a Japanese direct doesn't mean it is only pertaining to games the Japanese wants, but the Jap's are a lot more picky than western gamers (imo) and Nintendo likes to make them feel special by giving them their own direct from time to time (yes, there are games that ONLY come out in Japan or at least are localized MUCH later, but I think Nintendo still markets it to the Western audience). That being said, I do think there will be a LOT of games at the Direct that they will get out of the way so E3 can be all new stuff, which implies E3 is going to have a LOT of new stuff.

Could also be the announcement of their first smartphone game with DeNA. I would guess they wouldn't be too concerned bringing stuff like that to E3.

Nintendo already said that E3 will only focus on 2015 games. That is one of the reasons why we wont see LOZWiiU at E3 this year.

Easy. They are actually releasing games in Japan this summer.
Rythm Heaven, Fire Emblem If, Dragon Quest VIII. On top of that, they are going to keep pushing some already released games, like both Xenoblade games. Japan gets a lot more games than the west on 3DS and Wii U.

This is nothing to get excited, in fact, being only Japan shows that there are a lot more games for them than us, and for us the main show will be the E3 with games already showed in the Japanese Nintendo Direct.

Good point! I forgot about that information. Well that must mean that they have a LOT more things to announce for 2015 (fiscal year, at least) than we anticipated.
