Finally, a straight to the point comparison thread with no BS, dynamic scaling and not having to underline and bold every little positive thing about the X1 sku to make it sound better than it actually is.

PS4  and XB1 runs at a combination of medium and High settings, your i3 4130 is a lot slower than the above cenchmarked i5 4670, so it's safe to say it will have inferior performance than the PS4 and is more expensive as well. Perhaps in two years time you will be able to buy a PC that gets close to a PS4's performance for the same money, but today no you can't

You can get alienware Alpha for 450$ on amazon. Thats just 50§ more then ps4.

I may can get a ps4 for about 350€ in sales.

But in a 3 years usage ill pay 350€ (ps4) + 3x50€(PSN) and its 500€ too.

And i pay 20-30€ more for each game. I have alot less games. I cant decide on myself between resolution, graphic quality and fps. No mods. I cant use youtube and co as good as on pc. Hell i cant even really use this forum on a console right?

You just gotta find a game you love enough to suffer for. ;)

To bring it back Witcher 3, I doubt many Xbox One players are overl bothered by playing it in 900p. By now you'd think they've either accepted that it's the standard for the console, or moved to PS4/PC.

The game is GPU locked. The i3 wont make a huge difference. I play the game fine on a two-threaded pentium at 4.5 Ghz with a 5 fps drop from my new i5 4690k same clockspeed.

I will do that .  Going back to xbox, I have two games that are 900p and for me they look as good as a 1080p game so if I was a xbox fan, I shouldn't be bothered for the resolution as long as the game runs stable.
