All PS4 fans should know that VR will result in half the resolution for the games as did 3D on PS3. (well or in half the framerate)

So better think twice before you want your favorite game to be a VR game.

All proper Morpheus games on PS4 will run in 1080p at 60fps, the same performance that the PS4 is already capable off.  So I don't know what you're referring to.

Doubt it. 1080p is only starting to be the standard for PS4 but either way, for 3D it is going to have to render everything twice, so that will likely have its part to play.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

VR isnt 3D... so no.... not even close to that kinda performance loss.

Pretty sure thats mis information.

Basically JazzB1987 your wrong.

What? Since when is VR  2D? lol

"What? Since when is VR 2D? lol"

When you said 3D and said it cut resolution in half because it needed to render twice, I assumed you ment like the 3D glasses type games on PC:

VR doesnt do things like this.

Its render the exact same way normal games currently are and is no more demanding than a normal game is atm.

Well then the visuals will be "cut in half" because you dont magically have twice the power to feed two 1080p screens.

There are no two 1080p screens. It's one 1080p screen seperated in the middle. The only performance loss that will occur is due to the motion sensors. Of course games will not look like the Order but that's because they need to be in 60fps and stable one at that. So while the games will not look as pretty as AAA 30fps games they will look decent enough.

There will be no visible overall downgrade because the pixel density doesn't change.

I'm sure games made specifically for it will be 1080p, 60fps minimum but yeah if people are expecting traditional gameplay experiences like The LAst of US 2, either expect PS3 level graphics or for it suffer in resolution. Games made for Morpheus will likely operate in enclosed spaces, small draw distances, fewer on screen effects, limited AI etc, the visuals will be built around achieving 1080p, 60fps. Its the games that are ported which will be problematic.

Porn will decide which technology will be the most popular.

Simulation and Horror games can be big, too.

Galges!

horror and drama. IMO
