I think you contridict yourself. With a few sources, there are no Game Revolution sites which appears to not like Nintendo games and not give out many "A"s.
What I don't get is:
(1) How Halo with a limited single-player gets an A- and SSBB with the same gets a B+ from Game Revolution. (Which shows bias against Nintendo's on-line).
(2) How B+ gets translated to 85 by Gamerankings and 83 by Metacritic.
On a 10-point scale, that's 87-88.
