wow..... so THE LAST OF US sucks.... Sony haven't released that many first party blockbusters besides secound son which apparently sucks.. and bloodborne which also sucks ......

Last of Us was 2013. Infamous, while great in is own right, is completely overshadowed by GTA5, and doesn't have any sort of multiplayer/coop. Bloodborne isn't 1st party.....From Software is independant last I checked (not being sarcastic there).

Hey listen, PS4 is 1st place so no need to become defensive. That said, they are being more reliant on 3rd parties and indies. With 1st party being composed of average titles in their respective genres (KZ: SF, Infamous, Drive Club). Even LBP 3, a great title, flew under the radar of most core gamers (essentially outstaying its welcome as a IP) and sold on bundles alone. Sony has yet to showcase a real 1st party powerhouse with Uncharted being delayed into 2016.

I mean, these titles will come, they always do. But for all the good cred gamers are giving Sony, its gonna be 3 calendar years PS4 existed and they still havent released a real AAA powerhouse. That said, with the way PS4 is selling now, I doubt Sony execs are making 1st party games a priority like last gen, when they really needed them to differentiate.

GtA5 is sandbox open world, inFamous is sandbox open world. That doesn't mean they can be compared with each other. They're not the same kind of gameplay.

The way you approach every single of those discussions... You seem to say that every single game released by Sony needs to be the best of the best ever in the history of the universe for you to give them an ounce of credit. It got old a while ago. Not every titles will become powerhouses. It's the same for every developers. Including your precious Microsoft. And that doesn't make them bad games in themselves. They're still offering diversity. And that's the main point people are making here.

And just to make it clear, the PS4 will be two years old in november. Not three.

If a game doesn't stand out in its own genre, then its worth is lessened, no matter how you slice it. And I said 3 "calendar" years, meaning its 2013 launch, 2014, and 2015.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Can we stop pretending "analyst" is a real job? Soothsayers, I call them.

I lol'd at the link "some of the most devoted and blind fans". Rol's pic fits the post too.

I would like to thank you all for participating in my experiment. I have collected the data and will use it to further my research in human behavior and the willingness to read.

Again, thank you.

Those who just read the title and not the "article" are pretty damn obvious in here :) was pretty well put together, hopefully didn't ruffle too much feathers of anyone tho. chuckled/10

Splatoon selling 6m seems like a bit of a stretch for me
2m is my guess

Not trolling, just a social experiment

I don´t want to be a dick here but if it´s a real experiment it´s a pretty shitty one and goes against several steps of the scientific method. It´s good for a laugh but nothing more. If you plan to use this in an actual class in college or something like that, don´t do it. Brought to you by your friendly neighborhood biologist(-man)^^

Seems credible...

Tried very hard but didn't find any funny in op. The comments though, even if very predictable and showing of butthurtness and bias were gold.

Hack & Slash

XOne = Ryse
WiiU = Bayonetta 2
PS4 = God of War 4 (confirmed in development), Hellblade

WiiU atm but PS4 can win in the long run.

Action/ Adventure:

XOne = Quantum Break
WiiU = ?
PS4 = R&C, Uncharted 4.

Generally games like DMC, Bayonetta, etc are called character action games. But whatever you want to call them, I don't know how Bayonetta 2 qualifies as one while Wonderful 101 and Devil's Third do not.

And really, you can't think of any already released or upcoming action-adventure games on Wii U? Like, none at all?

I suppose you aren't familiar with the super-obscure Legend of Zelda franchise.

@OT, Kramer is my favorite industry analyst.

Lmfao to be honest I'm not familiarized with the WiiU library & probably won't even scope it until it gets another price cut.
