Forums - Movies & TV - 3D or not 3D ? Age of Ultron in 3D , is it worth it?

Where is Kaizar when you need him

nah it didn't really do much for the movie. I dislike the dark layer the glasses add to 3d movies.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I never found 3D necessary. Sometimes I feel you miss out on some amazing visual details because you're too focused on the pop-out parts.

3D would probably only be worth it for movies that actually utilizes it like Avatar.

3d in movies can be nice if it was actually filmed in 3d (like avatar). However, movies that are converted after the fact tend to have very little 3d effect and it is generally better to see it normally. As far as I know, I think avengers was not filmed in 3d, so it may be better to see it normally. That's my opinion anyway. I am sure if kaizar was still around he would disagree...

I think it works with some movies but not with others. I found GotG and Avatar worked excellently with 3D, but most others weren't necessarily worth it.

Avengers could go either way. I wouldn't gamble it in case your eye sight gives you headaches with the 3D. Would be a shame to not enjoy a movie as large scale as this based on that.

I don't think it's worthy... I saw it on 3D but it was nothing special. The only films I actually like the 3D effect are Avatar and Gravity. But, hey, the film is definitely worth your time. It's glorious if you're a Marvel fan ;)
