The Inklings NEED to make it. I mean, Smash is a window of publicity to characters, so Nintendo should put Splatoon characters there to promote them ASAP. It's just logical.



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Ok i got yah! But you have to remember, some people like certain characters alot. Fan favorites if you will. SSB5 comes and they take out Shulk, and then they re add him as dlc, many fans would be happy.

I think the argument hre is Roy is more of a clone than someone with his own moveset. Which to an extent i agree. 

I mean this is exactly why i think SSB5 should be a tune up of SSB4 with returning characters of Ice Climbers/Squirtle/Ivysaur/Wolf and add in 16-20 newcomers. So we havve a roster of 70+ characters...

SSB is the most important roster in gaming, you can see why :0

True enough, I still don't have to like it though, lol. (Plus Shulk is the only playable character represented from the Xeno series.)

But i do think Shulk "Should" stay because he is the rep for XC franchise, i like Elma in as a second rep but i rather have 1st Saki or Isaac because they are the poster boys for there franchises (Sin+Punishment and Golden Sun)

Same boat as Lucas, both have huge followings and Wolf is a completely unique character sharing exactly 1 move with Fox, and the 2 specials are similar but different....

Its funny because Fox use the Landmaster while Falco/Wolf should use Arwing/Wolfen, but oh well.

Yeah Out of all the clone characters, in terms of all around (movement/speed/atks/everything) i think Wolf is easily the most different if not top 3.

Ok so say this. Scale 1-10. 1 being Complete Clone, 10 being Completely different (All Clones should be a 5 or higher imo, but oh well). Im using only the so called "clone characters"... Here we goooo....

Luigi: 8 (Similar atks to mario, but plays different with his movement as well as many atks),

Falco: 3 in melee, now a 6. (Melee had him different with just jump and speed. Small difference with specials, now he feels unique but definitely Fox aspired)

Young Link: 1 Nuff Said

Dr Mario: 2 in Melee and a 4 in SSB4

Pichu: 0 Yes because he is the most pointless clone of all time, not only in SSB. There is only 1 way to redeem pichu, and that is ONLY With a double Pichu or Plusle/Minum set. That way 2 terrible characters are actually not terrible. (like Ice Climbers)

Ganondorf: 3 in melee, now 4. The only thing i wish for this is A newcomer named Black Shadow from F Zero takes this mveset and Ganon be unique!!!

Wolf: 9 (We both know why)

Lucas: 8 Similar Run speed/jump, but completely different atks other than FSmash. Similar Specials, excluding Neutral B

Lucina: 2

Dark Pit: 1

Roy: 3 (some differences)

Toon Link: 4, arguably a 5. There is enough to split him apart!!!

Alph: 1 XD

Koopalings: 1 XDDD

Sad. Why keep bringing back these old characters? Its like people are not content until its the exact same game as last time. I voted for Toad.

And I know its a unpopular opinion, but I'm not a Geno fan. I never understood the appeal.

Not really sad, Veterans =/= same game. If they added toad (captain toad seems plausible) as DLC, you like him alot, so Do other fans. Then next game they cut him, how would you feel? Then they said we can bring back some characters, and/or say Captain Toad is cming back. Wouldn't you feel overjoyed?

Same with Mewtwo/Lucas fans. People love their characters, Roy so happens to be one of them. Even if he is a 80% cloneof Marth.

As for Wolf, he isnt a clone! And people easily want himback!

 

As for Geno, have you played SM:RPG? If not, now we know why :p (if you have SHAME ON YOU!!!)
