I still don't understand why so many people want a playstation-character in the game

Man, it's sad to read all these completely stale ideas.... Nintendo said people can choose whoever they want, and they want a returning character..... 

What about Sora, Or Bayonetta? Oh, no I want Roy, lol.

I mean there is a fanbase with those characters, like Sakurai stated with Mewtwo coming backas well as Lucas.

And Sora/Bayonetta arent better choices. Sora because Geno >>> (but i think Sora is #2 SE rep), and Bayonetta... hell no. She doesn't deserve to be on this list. There are tons more Nintendo Characters that are still not in the game that deserve more than third parties!

As for third parties they need to represent something and be iconic. Banjo Kazooie/Ryu fits those bills, maybe Bomberman afterwards? All Bayo is, is a WiiU exclusive game. She's awesome, but imo and many others doesn't deserve a seat in SSB :-/

Snake? Well he was in SSBB, i think thats why. Unique Moveset+People love him :p

I get what you're saying, but you're missing the point. It isn't about the two names I randomly thrown out and more to do with having a character thar has already been in the game return when there are many other NEW fighters they could choose from.

He was in Snake Eater 3D as well.

Ok i got yah! But you have to remember, some people like certain characters alot. Fan favorites if you will. SSB5 comes and they take out Shulk, and then they re add him as dlc, many fans would be happy.

I think the argument hre is Roy is more of a clone than someone with his own moveset. Which to an extent i agree. 

I mean this is exactly why i think SSB5 should be a tune up of SSB4 with returning characters of Ice Climbers/Squirtle/Ivysaur/Wolf and add in 16-20 newcomers. So we havve a roster of 70+ characters...

SSB is the most important roster in gaming, you can see why :0

Srry, i usually add a source, like i did with the other poll threads. I found info on Gaf in a SSB tread, somebody translated the info in the opening. Some japanese guy did a polland over 800 people voted.

Hmm, although it's not the official poll, it does say some interesting things of what some people want. Why Roy is on top is a mystery to me. I don't even think he is that interesting. He was a clone of Marth, who already has a clone. And why wolf..? He's cool, but a new character would be better I think.
