bloodborne is stable trust me

Sorry, its not.  Its an amazing game don't get me wrong, but the framerate dips way into the 20s on numerous occasions.

and what other game doesnt who runs @30 frames target these days? The fact that its 1080p, almost open world and has the best graphics out there makes the view dips to 29fps unfeeling.

Shadow of the collossus ran at 20fps during collossus battles on average

I suppose they could, but wouldn`t that delay the game ever further...? Would anyone want that..?

You said it was stable, I'm merely pointing out that its not.  What does any other game have to do with it?

They aren't dips to 29 either I'm not sure where you are getting this information from (please dont say Digital Foundry who saw fit to test the first part and only the first part.)  It dips quite severly in places in an around the Cathedral, The Woods etc.  I'm not knocking the game, its perfectly playable with the drops, I'm just correcting you saying it was "stable" when its not.

That's something that prevents me to clasify Shadow of the Colossus as a satisfying game.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Just no.

I've heard they might use the engine from BloodBorne 3

NNID: MagicalLight

FC: 4124 - 5888 - 4804

Im going with a gut feeling that The Last Guardian will be released this holiday. So unless they were developed side by side then no.

TLG is a different game, with different priorities and a different mission.

Some of Team ICO's main focuses are animations and draw distance, two things that the Bloodborne engine doesn't handle well enough for their standards. I mean... to this day, I can't think of any game that feels quite as alive as Shadow of The Colossus did.. "a PS2 game".. why have a team of this level of talent barrow an engine from another developer? Yes, they were struggling.. the PS3 proved challenging to develop for and their target was too demanding for the system. But luckily this is changing with the PS4 and Shuhei Yoshida said the team is making a great progress..I'll take his word on this one.

I believe it's better for a creator to build his/her own engine and have things their way with no restrictions hindering their ideas and forcing them to adapt as long as they are capable to make engines.

Until dawn is using the engine from killzone shadow falls. You wouldnt know if i wouldnt tell you that, engines can be very flexible

although this whole thread is pointless, i'll give a completely new fact to the discussion:
i think sony owns the IP, but not the engine :P

so even if from software doesn't want to make bloodborne 2, and sony decides to make it on their own, they MAY have problems doing so.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

Have you played bloodborne? Except some areas game looks meh. Plus it had too much chromic effects.
