If you think that 12,000,000 for XBO is possible this year, why 20,000,000 for PS4 is impossible?

PS4 sold 90% more than the XBO in 2014, if XBO sell really 12,000,000, PS4 is gonna to sell nearly 23,000,000...

 

I think that both is too much.

Agreed.  There is nothing to suggest that the figures will pick up for the Xbox during March and April due to no significant releases.  Its obvious that from May onwards the Xbox will get a boost from the likes of the Witcher, Project Cars etc.  But in all likliness between the last figures for 28th Feb and End of April Xbox is only going to sell double what it has for the year.  So for the year in total it might be sat on around the 1.5million mark at the end of April.  That leaves 8 months for the Xbox to shift 10.6 million units ( to make 23 million)  Thats then an average of well over 300K a week from then on in until the end of the year.  Whilst the Witcher, Project Cars, Batman etc will give it a shot in the arm at various times, it wont be anywhere near enough to make the gap to 23 million seem realistic.

PS4 - 34M - XB1 - 21m - WII U -12M

i think xbox one will hit the 20m mark this year for sure. PS4 will hit at least 30m and wii u at least 10m :P

i just don't really know what to expect from the wii u(especially without zelda). maybe 12 - 13m? who knows...

Rod Ferguson confirmed a Gears of War collection was not currently being made right? Though that doesn't mean they didn't remaster the original.

Some of those predictions seem a bit off, I don't expect AC: Victory to sell 3 million units by the end of the year.


He confirmed they (Black Tusk) are not working on "Marcus Fenix Collection". But there are multiple gears projects in the work, we will see them at E3. Plenty of loop holes but its confirmed we're getting more then just Gears 4.

The Wii U will be insanely weak but the PS4 can easily compete against the Xbox One even without Uncharted 4. But yeah, the Xbox One will have a good year.

Why don't we wait til after E3 and the huge boost from PS4's first WW price cut, which may possibly drop it to $299, before we start saying silly things like "little competition."

Am I being pessimistic (or just realistic?) if I say I dont think xbox 1 will go over 20mil by end of this year?

I also dont think xbox1 has the holidays season in the bag..... PS4 hasnt had a price cut YET.....
its going to happend this year (before the holiday season) and its going to hurt xbox sales.
