The decade began five years ago and in that time many amazing games have released. Every year has many games which are of great quality, but only a few of them can be called the best. So I've made a list of games which released this decade and which I feel are deserving to be Game of The Decade. I've picked the best games that I've played from each year on PC and home consoles.
2010
1. God Of War III: This the only game released in the year which I feel is Game Of The Decade contender. It has epic boss fights, intense action, a very good narrative and is a awesome conclusion to the trilogy. This game is very memorable, very enjoyable and also deep. Its also my favourite exclusive game.
2011
1. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: Another awesome action game with intense shooting sections and fun platforming. The set pieces in this game are entertaining and the story is very good like it usually is in Naughty Dog games. The multiplayer is also fun and a very good addition to the incredible campaign.
2. Battlefield 3: This game probably has the best multiplayer in any game I've played. Its intense, tactical, varied and filled with a lot of content. The shooting mechanics are very good and its a blast to play with friends.
2012
1. Halo 4: This is another one of the best FPS games of this decade. The environments are vast and varied, the gameplay is awesome and the story is also interesting. The game also has a fun multiplayer mode, but thye campaign is incredible.
2. Max Payne 3: Its one of the best TPS game of last generation and this decade. The gameplay is incredible nad nothing really matches the characteristic Max Payne gameplay, but in this one its improved further. The set pieces are very good and the game is fun to play and the story is very good.
2013
1. Grand Theft Auto V: This is the most epic open-world game ever made. There is diversity in terrain, the map, customisation, incredible missions, good story and very fun gameplay.
2. The Last Of Us: The Last Of Us has the best narrative and story in any game I've played. The gameplay is very good too but the story is even better. The game can make you feel for the characters, which is not something every game can do. The multiplayer is interesting too, and the mix of stealth and action makes it very different to other games.
2014
1. Far Cry 4: This game has one of the best settings and an incredibly fun and diverse campaign. There is a lot of content, and gameplay is very varied. This is the best game of last year for many reasons, and that's why it deserves to be on this list.
