You know what, when you add in those china numbers later down the line after that launch by sony you dont even need to post the ps4 global sales just put a gif of WWE's Farooq (ron simmons) going DAMNNNN!!!!!

On a semi-related note; how do you think the PS4 will sell in China? I know there is a large population there but the majority of those with the time to play video games are actually quite poor compared to the average american for example. They are also quite used to F2P games as well as PC gaming. I'm kinda interested in how people think it well sell in that environment

X1 has stabilized for now at 80k which is good. Its not great but its still doing alright.

It will sell out thru its first few launches just based on name recognition, but im not sure what the long term numbers are gonna be.  Im hoping bigger than japan since that market is fading more and more gen to gen in terms of overall console sales.

I think it is launching for cheaper than the Xbox did, but I'm not sure what kind of games are launching alongside it. I think they should move towards games that are free at launch and charge you money down the road. That's what China seems to like

Im gonna take a stab in the dark here and assume the previous person you quoted meant among consoles, handhelds are a different breed all togther.

TBH the game lineup is kinda weak that why i believe its gonna (at least in the beganing) sale on name recognition, and i do like your idea for the game distribution that could work nicely.
