Well I knew it was gonna be a dragged out fight regardless. They got paid by the second if it went the long way so they'd both be smart to hold out for as long as possible. Had there been a rule that said the winner wins a lot more than the loser it *might* have been more dynamic. Then again, i don't know jack shit about boxing.

I still enjoyed the fight though. Mayweather's hugging may have been annoying but you have to admit, the guy know how to dodge and block beautifully.

Just like soccer, boxing is beautiful be it a attacking or defensive one.

The difference is that, in football, if you don't do anything, you don't win. So, in boxing, they are content to just stand there and count their money per second.

Have you ever seen Chelsea play? Do you know what Catenaccio is?

Mourinho's Inter won everything by "doing nothing".

Mayweather actually did more than Pacquiao offensively and way more defensively.

And Mourinho's teams get a lot of hate because of their boring defensive play. And rightly so as well, people watch sport for entertainment and defense isn't entertaining in any sport.

I love it and I understand people that hate it though. What I hate is watching most English teams play.

They mostly have a hole for defense. There's a reason Latin teams dominate the CL, offense wins games but defense wins championships

Well, Chelsea has scored on average 2 goals per match so they must be doing something. There's a reason why there are so many memes of this fight.

People that fell off the wagon cause they thought they were gonna watch a street fight maybe?

Most boring big PPV fight ever.

It was clear it was all about the money not who won or lost. I bet Mayweather had a fricken script in his contract hence why it too so long for both to sign lol.

Script when something along like this

I must win

we dance for 12 rounds

throw a few punches here and there that contact

Bullshit.  Some of my favorite teams in football, basketball, and hockey have been defensive teams.  A great defensive play takes just as much work and skill as a great offensive play.  For people who actually watch and understand, defense is interesting.  For those who chat with their friends until they can go, "yay, someone scored, yay," it's a different story, I suppose, but I don't give a rat's ass about them.

eh, just go back a couple years and English teams dominated more than Latin teams ever have

When there was no offside and tactics were as rudementary as the soccer balls used back then.
